These images are from a wonderfully satisfying job that I carried out in Belfast. The brief was to take the bare bones of the penthouse apartment (when they say penthouse in Belfast they mean attic!) and provide a turnkey package that would be suitable for corporate letting. This project was carried out in 1996 - quite a while ago - but I think the end result still looks fresh! I had Velux windows galore to deal with as well as a dutch barn shape to the main windows - not easy, let me tell you - but the end result made the difficulties all fade away!

Overall this project reflects my signature style - "cutting edge but classic".
Comfort is a big consideration - there's no point at all in having a wonderful space that people can't relax and throw off their shoes in - so I always make sure that the sofa is comfortable and that the covering can stand up to the rigours of modern life!
