The image on the right is the result of a lot of hard thinking on my part - we were faced with an office corridor that seemed to go on for miles. And another problem was that natural light was only available on one side of the corridor, so a lot of staff were consigned to artificial lighting hell - not the most pleasant of working conditions - the upshot being the design solution above incorporating a glass brick circle that broke the endless corridor vista in an attractive way and that also flooded what was a previously dark corridor with light.

In order to address the problem of light on the dark side of the corridor we inserted a narrow glass brick panel into the side of each office door which along with the main circle of glass bricks went a long way towards remedying that problem! We echoed the circular shape of the glass brick wall with an ebony Amtico border around the Amtico teak herringbone flooring and all of that with the warm, textured toffee wallcovering contributed towards the creation of a welcoming ambience!

So, as you can see, give me a problem space, and, with any luck, I can come up with a solution that not only solves the problem but also makes the space look like it has been purpose built!
